So, What is a Cuddle Party? 

A Cuddle Party is a 3 hour workshop experience where participants engage in communication exercises, explore touch in a non-sexual space, experience personal exploration and intimacy, and have fun with like minded people.

What do we do at a Cuddle Party?

We do two main things at Cuddle Parties: 1. Enjoy each other’s touch. You can come and enjoy giving and receiving caring touch from other people who want to give and receive it. 2. Practice Consent. A major part of Cuddle Parties is learning how to ask for what you want and how to answer requests. Worried? Confused? Don’t fret – we will teach, guide and help you practice how to do it.

This is a Non-sexual Event

This is a non-sexual event. You have the option of experiencing touch and maybe intimacy if you’d like to – but we steer away from sexual behavior.  If you are looking for something sexy, we’re all for it! 🙂 just not in this event. 

Must I Do Anything?

Nope. You are always free to join in or not as you wish. No one is forced to do anything.  

NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS

The focus in a Cuddle Party is on practicing the thrilling power of giving consent or not giving consent and so we want you to do this in the clearest state of mind possible.  Thus, please arrive happy and sober.  You can be scared, anxious or confused of course, that’s fine, just not tipsy.      

Why is Cuddling important?

Nurturing and consensual loving touch is good for maintaining a healthy life, a strong nervous system and a balanced emotional state for people of all walks of life. One’s ability to connect with and develop greater trust in others is emphasized during the group exchanges during Cuddle Parties. Self-care is a cornerstone of the Cuddle Party experience.

Will There be More of these?  

Yep. I plan to have them every 4th Sunday of the month at my home for the next six months, at the same time.   Most attendees at Cuddle Parties are people who have been to one and want more of those warm fuzzy feelings. 

Can I Help You Phil ?

Absolutely you can help me. I would love help both during parties and to help me find more suitable places to have them around Louisiana.  It would be nice to have a nice place in Baton Rouge,  New Orleans or around Covington with better parking to have these Cuddle Parties so if you know of something like a yoga studio that could be rented, let me know.   Or if  you would be willing to host one in your home that would be super nifty.   

I Am Training To Be A Facilitator

You should know that I’m currently in training to become a Certified Cuddle Party Facilitator. My trainers are keeping a close eye on us and require me to have 3 Cuddle Parties with at least 8 people before getting their stamp of approval (Hug of approval?)  So there is a little review form afterwards to both help me improve and let them get feedback on whether they will approve me or not.  If  you don’t fill this out, I’ll never get my certificate. 

Technically these should be called “Review Cuddle Parties” but I promise you will get the complete Cuddle Party experience.  Cross My Heart!
